Roadworks affecting school traffic.

Roadworks around North Bundaberg State High School

Bundaberg Regional Council has commenced road works to the streets bordering North High and this is affecting access to the school.  The Council is planning to have access available to these streets by Tuesday 28th January 2014.  At this stage we have been informed that on the first day back Marks Street and Barber Street will have a gravel surface so caution is required and speed limits should be adhered to.  Access to Marks Street will be available via Mackenzie Street and Young Street.  The Council is hoping that the road will be sealed, weather permitting, on Wednesday 29th January and this should be done during school hours, causing minimum disruption to school traffic.  Laying of asphalt is planned for February 2nd to 5th, again during school hours so no parking is allowed in Marks Street or Barber Street on these days.

The Bundaberg Regional Council has advised that the bus companies who service the school have been notified of the disruption.  If you seek clarification of bus information please contact the bus company directly.

We ask for your cooperation during this time and thank you for your patience.
