Bring your own device

Bundaberg North State High School is committed to maximising the use of current and emerging technologies within our classrooms to provide positive learning and educational benefits for our students. Innovation and technological skills are what separate students who are prepared for increasingly complex life and work environments in today’s world and those who are not.
Our goal for the program is that students use these devices as a tool in every class to support key processes in learning - accessing, organizing, processing and publishing information, collaboration, creativity and communication, and for teachers to use them as an environment to facilitate deeper engagement in learning and higher-ordering thinking.
Purchasing a suitable device can be a daunting task.  With so many models and specifications on the market it can be an overwhelming decision for any parent/guardian.  To assist you in purchasing a device major computer vendors have worked with the school to provide information through purchasing portals.  These portals allow parents to purchase the devices at education prices and include interest free payment plans to suit any budget.
To visit the Hewlett Packard purchasing portal please follow the link below.
To visit the ASI Solutions purchasing portal please follow the link below.  Please note that you will need to read the ASI Instructions to Register document to assist you when you visit the portal.

Equity Pool

Bundaberg North SHS understand that it is not always possible for families to provide their student with a device on enrolment.  To assist and ensure each student has access to the same resource a small number of EQUITY POOL devices are available through an application process.
If you wish to apply for an equity pool device, complete the Equity Pool Application form and return to the school office.  Before a device can be prepared for your student you will also be required to read and sign the Equity Pool Agreement, confirming your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the scheme.  If approved, your student will be allocated a device for their use for the year.  More information on the scheme can be found on the BYOX Overview
Should you require any further information or have any concerns or questions about the BYOD program, please contact the school on 4130 0222 and speak to Liam Kronk, or email
