Bundaberg North State High School, in partnership with the BNSHS P&C Association are proud to offer 10 scholarships for year 7 students of 2025. We will be offering three types of scholarships: Academic, Sporting and Cultural; and encourage all students currently in year 6 who excel in any of these areas to apply.
By offering the three types of scholarships, we are acknowledging that all students have different interests and talents, and as such, perform better in different areas. Here at BNSHS we foster the development of all aspects of our young people, encouraging and assisting them to pursue and develop their talents and interests whether that is in the classroom, on the sporting field or via the many areas of cultural endeavours such as instrumental music, drama, dance or some other aspect.
Each recipient of a scholarship will:
- Secure a place in the EAGLES Extension Program
- Receive $130 gift voucher at our uniform supplier, Shawline, courtesy of P&C Association
- Credit of $200 on their school account
- Access to a school provided laptop for the duration of the 2025 school year
In additional to these, the following benefits will apply for specific scholarships:
• Academic - entrance fees for two ICAS competitions
• Cultural - Instrumental music fees waived or entrance fees to a cultural competition / performance covered by the school
• Sporting - Inclusion in the Sporting Enhancement Program
