The school invites all parents to become involved in the Parents & Citizens Association. The P&C is involved in a variety of school activities from policy to financial planning as well as maintaining the school canteen and other fundraising activities.
The P&C meets once each month to discuss matters of concern to the school and the school community.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month in the conference room in A Block and commence at 6:00pm. You will find meeting dates on the website events calendar.
From the P&C President - "Just do one thing"
We believe that Bundaberg North
State High School is a great place due to our small but energetic, friendly
school community. We want to ensure every family (especially new families) have
the opportunity to get involved. Volunteering at school is a great way to meet
new people, make friends and your kids get a kick out of knowing that you are
helping to make their school better for them and their friends.
This year one of the priority
areas for the school is parent engagement and we would like to encourage you
all to become involved in our ‘Just do one thing’ drive.
We have almost 500 families
attending Bundaberg North High. We are hoping that every family can do “Just
Do One Thing” throughout the year to help make our school the greatest is can be.
We have compiled a list of
“things” that we would appreciate your assistance with. Please tick one box (or
more if you wish) and place your contact details on the last page. Return your
letter to the school office as soon as possible so that we can collate the
responses. When the time comes someone from the P & C will contact you
regarding participation.
If you are unable to help but
would like to be kept up to date with information, meeting minutes and events
organised by the P & C, please complete your contact details below and
return this form to the school office.
Thank you in anticipation of your
valuable help. ‘Many hands make light work’.
Yours sincerely
