Bundaberg North State High School is the only high school situated on the north side of the Burnett River in Bundaberg. We have a current enrolment of approximately 700 students. Bundaberg is approximately 4 hours north of Brisbane and offers an excellent lifestyle. At Bundaberg North SHS, we are committed to producing outstanding learners, achievements and futures for students regardless of their pathway. We cater for both ATAR and non-ATAR pathways, consistently obtaining high ATARs as well as providing a variety of pathways for students post school. We believe strong, positive and supportive relationships between all members of our school are the foundation to supporting these outcomes. Through the provision of an inclusive, safe, supportive, progressive learning environment, Bundaberg North State High School prepares students to be innovative, entrepreneurial, life-long learners, who are resilient and responsible global citizens. for the school.
The school council must perform its role in accordance with
legislation and in a way that achieves the best learning outcomes for the
school's students.
Qld State School ban of mobile phones and wearable devices - 2024
Commencing in term 1, 2024 all state school students must keep their mobile phones switched off and 'away for the day' during school hours. This has been implemented in all state schools to reduce distractions, promote health and well-being and reduce the potential for students exposure to negative impacts of the digital world.
