Information technology changes at a rapid pace. We all have to become life-long learners of this topic to keep up with the latest technological advances.
Information Technology is embedded throughout both the Junior and Senior curriculum at Bundaberg North SHS. Students have the opportunity to study a variety of learning and information technology topics. These include areas such as: robotics, game making, using hardware, software applications, animation, programming, webpage design and Internet use.
Bundaberg North is equipped with seven computer laboratories, all installed with a variety of industry-standard software applications. By studying an Information Technology subject, students gain knowledge and skills that can be utilised across other curriculum areas. These skills can then be easily transferred into today’s workforce.

Business Education helps us to make responsible and informed decisions about everyday life-choices. Bundaberg North SHS offers a range of business-related subjects that are valuable to students as active consumers and citizens of tomorrow.
Concepts and skills related to finance, business, legal, employment, enterprise and consumerism are covered throughout a variety of topics. Students integrate through their learning the latest business technologies used in the business world today. Students have the opportunity to gain practical skills and knowledge and then apply this to real-life situations.
By studying Business Education subjects students are exposed to the underpinning knowledge of Financial Literacy, Enterprise and Consumerism within all the subjects.
