The achievement of mathematical literacy for all students is a fundamental underpinning of the Mathematics program at North Bundaberg State High School. Our school has undertaken full implementation of the Australian Curriculum in mathematics and aims to provide an integrated pathway for students from Years 7 to 12.

Students are encouraged to obtain a sound grounding in the basics of Mathematics in the junior years by operating at the Australian Curriculum level that is appropriate to their development and prior training. Year 10 is designated both as the final year of the P-10 Australian Curriculum as well as a transition year to senior studies to prepare students for the appropriate pathway that they require for their future needs. Subjects offered in Years 11 and 12 are Pre-Vocational Mathematics as well as Senior Mathematics A, B and C.
