In 2024 Bundaberg North State High School will celebrate 50 years of being an important part of the North Bundaberg educational landscape.

To mark this special occasion there will be two special events which will take place on 1st June 2024.   A planning committee of volunteers has been working on the following events to provide an opportunity for past students, staff and the local community to reconnect and enjoy the memories they have of North High.

Open Day at North High

Commencing at 10am on Saturday 1st June, North High will open its doors for a 50th Anniversary Open Day at the school.  There will be something for everyone, including static displays of the memories of each decade, photo opportunities, official opening of the time capsule and Bush Tucker Garden, local musician Mark Lavender, refreshments and Old MacDonald's farm & face painting for little ones!

This is a free event for the whole family.

Evening Event

On Saturday evening, 1st June Bundaberg North State High School will host an evening of music and memories at Brothers Sports Club.  This will be a ticketed event and will include music, entertainment, nibbles and all ticket-holders will receive a commemorative BNSHS 50th Anniversary pen.

Tickets will be available from 9:00am on 16th March and payment will be required at the time of booking.  The cost per ticket is $25.00 and will be available online only, through the school's Qkr App.

If you wish to set up the Qkr app ahead of time, please see some helpful instructions below.  There are some phones which have issues downloading the app.  The Qkr app can also be downloaded on a laptop or desktop computer.
