In support of our school motto, “Realising your Potential,” and our commitment to enhancing learning through technology, we have partnered with Elevate Education. Elevate is an Australian organisation which has spent the past 25 years researching effective study habits and sharing these insights with students across the country. Their workshops are delivered by dynamic presenters who are currently studying at university, making the sessions relatable and engaging for our students.
To help our senior students better understand and responsibly use AI (Artificial Intelligence) in their learning, we welcomed Lucas from Elevate Education on Tuesday 10 February. He presented to all Year 11 students, Year 10 Eagles students and our Year 12 ATAR students, followed by a staff professional learning session and an information session for parents at 5.00pm.
Feedback from both students and staff has been extremely positive, with many staff commenting that they now feel more confident guiding students in using this emerging technology.
As part of our partnership with Elevate Education, parents and students have free access to Elevate’s online webinars, which are offered multiple times each term. We will continue to promote these through our social media channels and student notices. If you are interested in a topic but unable to attend the live session, we encourage you to register anyway—doing so ensures you receive a link to the recording, which you can revisit at any time throughout the year.
